Ṛtavāṇī is designed as an offline-first sacred-text reading application.
Information we collect
Ṛtavāṇī does not require an account and does not collect personal information from users.
The app does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, authentication, or developer-operated servers. The current application does not have internet access and does not transmit personal information to us.
Information stored on your device
The app stores certain preferences and application state locally on your device, including settings such as interface language, text-display preferences, and texts you choose to save.
This information is used only to provide the application’s functionality.
Android backup
Android may include eligible application data in the device backup associated with your Google Account, depending on your device and Google backup settings.
This backup is provided and controlled by Android/Google. We do not operate the backup service and do not receive or access data stored in your Google Account backup.
Third-party services
Ṛtavāṇī currently does not integrate advertising, analytics, telemetry, social-networking, authentication, or other third-party services that collect user information through the app.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or other third parties because the application does not collect such information.
Children’s privacy
Ṛtavāṇī does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. The app does not require account creation or submission of personal information.
Security
Because the application’s reading data and preferences are primarily stored locally on the user’s device, their protection also depends on the security of the device and the user’s Android/Google account settings.
Changes to this policy
If future versions introduce features that materially change how information is handled—for example, online accounts, analytics, cloud synchronization, or other network services—this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released where required.
